Powered by Nozzle-to-Pump technology, the SAM Smart Nozzle integrates with SAM and SAM BOOST, and enables nozzle operators to manage their own waterflow:
- SIMPLER SAM and BOOST manage pressure at the pump and communicate tank data to the nozzle, reducing the need for constant communication over the radio.
- FASTER As soon as the truck is put into pump gear, SAM goes to work. Nozzle operators can charge their own line right away and get water on the fire quickly.
- SAFER With constant pressure maintained at the pump and less kickback at the nozzle, SAM reduces common injuries on the fireground.

The SAM Smart Nozzle, when integrated with the SAM system, revolutionizes how fire crews approach their operations. Here’s how it works on the fireground:

Constant communication loop: information loops from the pump to the nozzle and back, keeping everyone informed without tying up precious radio lines.

SAM monitors and manages the flow: for each discharge, the pump operator can monitor valve pressure, rated and actual nozzle pressure, hose/friction loss, and more. Pressures can be adjusted automatically or manually at the valve.

Vital tank data in hand: the nozzle operator can monitor tank level and status from the smart control console on the nozzle.
