The SAM Smart Nozzle, when integrated with the SAM system, revolutionizes how fire crews approach their operations. Here’s how it works on the fireground: 

  • Constant communication loop: information loops from the pump to the nozzle and back, keeping everyone informed without tying up precious radio lines. 

  • SAM monitors and manages the flow: for each discharge, the pump operator can monitor valve pressure, rated and actual nozzle pressure, hose/friction loss, and more. Pressures can be adjusted automatically or manually at the valve. 

  • Vital tank data in hand: the nozzle operator can monitor tank level and status from the smart control console on the nozzle. 

  • Charge on-demand: the nozzle operator can charge their own line right from the nozzle.
