Cabin for the Embers of Hope campers.
In Ocala, Florida, something truly special happened. As part of the first annual Embers of Hope Burn Survivor Camp, Hale Products welcomed campers, firefighters, employees, and their families to a Family Fun Night that was more than just an event—it was a celebration of courage, connection, and compassion.
Over 250 people came together in a space filled with laughter, warmth, and community spirit. Nine fire trucks from Marion County and Ocala Fire Departments rolled in, thrilling kids and adults alike. A live demonstration of the HURST Jaws of Life cutting through a car and a hands-on SAM demo gave everyone a glimpse into the heroic work and innovative tools used by first responders.

Children bounced through inflatable slides, had their faces painted with bright colors, and enjoyed hot dogs and hamburgers fresh off the grill. But the most powerful moments weren’t in the activities—they were in the way the campers played freely, without hesitation or worry. For many of these young burn survivors, it was the first time they felt truly seen and celebrated.
At the heart of Hale’s partnership with Embers of Hope is a simple but profound belief: every child deserves to feel supported, especially those who have endured the trauma of burn injuries. These children carry more than physical scars—they carry stories of pain, resilience, and hope. And for many, Embers of Hope is the first place where they feel understood.
That’s why Hale stepped forward—not just as a sponsor, but as a partner in healing.
This camp offers more than summer fun. It’s a sanctuary where children rediscover their confidence, build friendships, and begin to see themselves through a lens of strength and possibility. It’s where healing begins—not just physically, but emotionally. And Hale’s support makes that possible.
What made Family Fun Night even more meaningful was the presence of Hale’s own employees and their families. They didn’t just attend—they engaged, volunteered, and embraced the campers with open hearts. Their kindness and enthusiasm turned a company-sponsored event into a community-wide embrace. It was a moment where the Hale family showed what it means to lead with compassion.
In a world that often moves too fast, where pain can be overlooked and healing delayed, Hale chose to pause, to listen, and to act. They chose to invest in the lives of children who have faced unimaginable challenges—and to remind them that they are not alone.

Thanks to the vision and dedication of Rebekah Johnson and her husband Stephen Johnson, founders of Embers of Hope, and the wholehearted support from Hale and its people, Family Fun Night became a symbol of what’s possible when empathy leads the way.
As the sun set over Lake Swan and the laughter of children echoed into the evening, one thing was clear: Hale’s gift will never be forgotten. It lives on in every smile, every hug, and every moment of courage these young survivors find within themselves.
Because when a company leads with heart, it doesn’t just change lives—it transforms them.
