Akron Brass Showcases New Products at FDIC 2017

Wooster, OH (April 27, 2017) – Akron Brass Company featured its latest product at this year’s FDIC International: The UltraJet® Handline Nozzle. Attendees got their hands on the UltraJet using a virtual reality experience to demonstrate its many features. Also highlighted were the Revel Scout® LED Tactical Scene Light, the Revolution® Intake Valve, StreamMaster™ II Monitor and the AeroMaster12® Monitor.

Booth staff encouraged attendees to “experience the flow” of the UltraJet as they put on their VR goggles, pulled back the handle, and virtually flowed the nozzle in the booth. Making its debut, this nozzle simplifies fire ground operations with intuitive functionality, matching flows in all patterns, and the ability to change patterns without shutting down. Combining the powerful punch of a true smooth bore and the widespread protection of a full fog pattern, you now can have the best of both worlds, no matter your preferred style. The UltraJet operates just like the standard nozzles you’ve been accustomed to using with no additional training required.

Also highlighted at this year’s show was the Revel Scout LED Scene Light. This portable light frees you from heavy generators and cumbersome cords. A combination of flood and spot-light LED optics increases overall visibility and is lightning fast to deploy weighing only 12 lbs. Demonstrations were available to show off the Revel Scout’s versatile mounting options - set on a flat surface, hang on a door, strap to a ladder or punch into drywall with its integrated spike.

Other featured product included the space-saving Revolution Intake Valve with easy-to-use handwheel for simplified valve operation, the StreamMaster II Monitor which can flow up to 2000 gpm and our latest 3000 gpm monitor, the AeroMaster12.
