Akron Brass Features New Products at FDIC 2009

Wooster, Ohio – Akron Brass delivers a host of new products at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis today.  Introducing a new LED roof mounted light bar, via their Columbus, OH facility, Weldon’s Aero-Maxx® II features intense LED light heads, rugged aluminum chassis and polycarbonate lenses along with serviceable lenses, light heads and controller for long-term maintenance.  Also introduced is Weldon’s high power 7150-7160 LED Beacon. Both of these products, when combined with the Diamondback® perimeter warning lamps, meet the requirements for all NFPA zones proving a complete Upper Warning Light Package. 

Other products Akron is debuting at FDIC are the Diamondback LED Roof Mounted Light Bar which utilizes Weldon’s popular V37 Diamondback light heads to provide an unsurpassed warning signal, Electric Riser Style 3406 for DeckMaster and StreamMaster Monitors, Style 1230 1” Self-Educting Forestry Nozzle, Style 538 Cellar Nozzle Applicator, Style 3356 Trident HFRT-10 Roof Turret which can deliver up to 2000 GPM and an Ultra-Tough line of tools providing 5 times the strength of our Ultra-Lite tool line.
